Please memorize these multiplications.

Do you, remember this picture?

We will use it again!

In Part 1, I promised to show you how to multiply 7×6 with this method?

Yes, of course 3!

How many jumps do you need to go from 6 to 10?

Yes, of course 4!

Now, write 3 next to 7 and 4 next to 6. Like this;

Now, Let’s multiply 3 by 4 (3×4=12), write 2 only and save 1 for the next stage;

Now, Let’s subtract (diagonally) 7 take away 4 (7-4) or 6 takeaway 3 (6-3), don’t forget to add the number that we saved earlier which is 1, (7-4+1=4) or (6-3+1=4)and write the result like this;

Yes, the answer is 42.

Now, it is your turn to do my challenge!

5×7 = ? 5×8 = ? 5×9 = ?

6×5 = ? 6×6 = ? 6×7 = ? 6×8 = ? 6×9 = ?

8×5 = ? 8×6 = ? 8×7 = ? 8×8 = ? 8×9 = ?
